DIMview is a free viewer from MB PRECIZIUM that runs in your browser. It opens more than 110 file types without installing anything and without uploading the file, because the file is read on your own device.

How it works
Each format is read by an open source library or by a parser written for DIMview, and all of it runs in your browser: web-ifc for IFC, OpenCascade for STEP and IGES, LibreDWG for DWG, laz-perf for LAZ, pdf.js and pdf-lib for PDF. The heavy readers load only when a file of that kind is opened, so the start page stays small.
Privacy
No file is uploaded. DIMview reads it with your browser and shows it on your screen, and the model, drawing or document never reaches our server. This is why people use it for material that is covered by a confidentiality agreement. Our visitor statistics count page views without cookies and never see the file (privacy policy).
What DIMview is not
DIMview is a viewer and measuring tool. It does not edit CAD or BIM files, and for documents it shows the content without the full layout of the original program. A signed container is shown with the files it holds, but DIMview does not validate the electronic signature, so use the signing software for that.

Yes. There are no ads, no account and no time limit.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. On a small screen the toolbar moves to a bar at the bottom with a More menu.
My file type is not listed.
